12 Jujutsu Kaisen Live Wallpapers for Mac: Gojo & Sukuna
Gojo's blue eyes are half the reason fans fell for him, so it feels wrong to leave them frozen on a static desktop. A Jujutsu Kaisen live wallpaper fixes that: neon rain slides past Gojo's train window, flames flicker beneath Higuruma's sword, and the eyes on Kenjaku's cube glow in the dark. I went through every JJK scene in Backdrop's public gallery and kept 12, grouped by character: Gojo first, then Sukuna and the big fight, Yuji and Megumi, and the rest of the sorcerers and curses.
One thing before you fall for a scene: Backdrop runs only on Macs, with macOS 15 Sequoia or later. There's no Windows, iPhone or Android version. The free trial has no end date and covers up to three wallpapers with a watermark, so you can put a Gojo, a Sukuna and a Yuji on your screen before paying anything.
| If you want… | Start with | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Gojo's stare | Gojo | One glowing blue eye in a dark purple haze, and almost nothing else moving. 4K. |
| The big fight | jjk | A red half and a blue half collide, with Gojo's eyes glowing on the blue side. 4K. |
| Something bright and calm | Yuta Okkotsu | Yuta in white with red blossoms on a pale background. 4K. |
What you see here are still frames; click a pick's name to watch its loop on the gallery page. Each scene was posted by a member of the Backdrop community, and the credit under each one is the name the gallery shows. A few JJK favourites, including Yuta under a summer sky and Divine General Mahoraga, already live in the anime live wallpapers roundup, so you won't find them twice.
Gojo Live Wallpapers
Gojo has more scenes in the gallery than anyone else in the series. These three cover the range, from a near-still profile to a rainy train ride.
Gojo

Gallery credit: Backdrop User. Gojo in profile, his hair lit pale blue and one eye glowing through a dark purple fog. The motion is barely there, which is exactly what you want behind a spreadsheet. It's the first JJK wallpaper I'd send to a friend who asks for "a Gojo one".
Gojo

Gallery credit: Backdrop User. His round sunglasses are pulled down just far enough to show those eyes, against a flat, bright red background. The movement stays up around his hair and face, and the plain red on the left keeps the frame uncluttered.
Gojo Satoru Train

Gallery credit: Cupcake. My favourite of the three. Gojo sits quietly on a night train while a rainy, neon-lit city slides past the window, and there's a cup on the table in front of him. The city lights do most of the moving, so it has more motion than the other Gojo picks without feeling busy.
Sukuna and Gojo vs Sukuna Live Wallpapers
The fight everyone wanted on a big screen, plus one Sukuna portrait for a darker desktop.
jjk

Gallery credit: Backdrop User. The title is plain; the scene isn't. A red half and a blue half crash into each other in streaks of energy, with Gojo's glowing eyes on the blue side and the whole frame moving. It's the most intense scene in this list, so save it for when you're not trying to concentrate.
Sukuna

Gallery credit: hoon32a. Sukuna's hands frame one eye in a red, inked style on a near-black background. The movement is slow and stays in the middle of the frame, and all that black works well with Dark Mode.
Yuji and Megumi Live Wallpapers
Yuji, Megumi, and the curse that never stays quiet inside Yuji.
Yuji And Megumi

Gallery credit: Backdrop User. Megumi and Yuji walking side by side through a dark wood, with the trees shifting behind them. It's one of the quieter moments between the two. The source is about 1080p (1954 × 1082), so it looks softer on a large external display than on a laptop.
Megumi Fushiguro And Mahoraga

Gallery credit: hoon32a. Megumi stands in the lower centre while Mahoraga's huge pale body and grin fill the top of the screen. Most of the motion is in Mahoraga above him, which makes the scene feel like it's breathing. It's a 4096 × 2304 source, one of the sharpest here.
Jujutsu Kaisen

Gallery credit: Backdrop User. Yuji's face split down the middle: cold blue on one side, red with Sukuna's markings on the other, and a finger raised to his lips. Small shards drift around him while the face itself stays put. It's a neat way to have both of them on one desktop.
Other Sorcerers and Curses
Higuruma, Mahoraga on its own, Yuta and Kenjaku, for when you want a less obvious pick.
Hiromi Higuruma

Gallery credit: Backdrop User. Higuruma holds a glowing cross-shaped blade between two sets of scales, with chains hanging around him and a burning city below. The flames along the bottom flicker while he stays still. The orange and black palette is the warmest in this list.
Mahoraga

Gallery credit: Backdrop User. A black-and-white Mahoraga stands with dark wings in a sea of clouds, while a tiny figure rises into a shaft of light above it. The clouds move gently across the whole frame. Since it has no colour, it won't fight with your app icons.
Yuta Okkotsu

Gallery credit: Backdrop User. Yuta in his white uniform, framed by thin branches of red blossoms on a clean white background. The branches at the edges move a little and Yuta barely does. It's the brightest scene here and the one I'd pick for Light Mode.
Kenjaku

Gallery credit: Backdrop User. Kenjaku holds up the Prison Realm, a dark cube covered in glowing blue eyes. The motion stays around the cube and his hands, and at almost a minute this is the longest loop in the list. Creepy in the best way.
How to Set a Jujutsu Kaisen Live Wallpaper on Your Mac
macOS can show photos and Apple's own aerial videos in Wallpaper settings, but it can't loop an anime scene you choose. Backdrop does, and every pick above opens straight in the app:
- Download Backdrop and open it on your Mac. Sign in to iCloud on the Mac to use the community gallery.
- Go to a pick's gallery page, watch the preview, and choose Open in Backdrop.
- Click the wallpaper in Backdrop to download it and set it on your desktop. On macOS 26 or later it also plays on the Lock Screen; on macOS 15 Sequoia, switch on Lock Screen support in Backdrop's Settings first. How to change your Mac Lock Screen has the steps.
Once you're in the app, Backdrop's Discover view groups the gallery into Collections, so you can keep browsing by mood.

The full walkthrough is in how to set a video as your wallpaper on macOS, and the gallery's anime category has plenty more to browse.
Tip: Build a JJK playlist. Add a Gojo, a Sukuna and Yuta, and Backdrop rotates them on a timer or shuffles them, with a separate playlist per display if you have two screens. See Backdrop wallpaper playlists.
Will a Live Wallpaper Slow Down Your Mac?
Not in a way you'll notice day to day. Backdrop pauses the wallpaper while an app is full screen and uses less energy on battery power. Cindori's published figure, as of November 2026, is "Less than 0.3% CPU usage when running on a MacBook Pro". If you'd rather keep the desktop calm while you work, the Gojo profile in the purple haze and the black-and-white Mahoraga barely move. The live wallpaper performance guide goes deeper.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How do I get a Gojo live wallpaper on my Mac?
Install Backdrop, open one of the Gojo pages above, choose Open in Backdrop, then click the wallpaper in the app to set it. The three Gojo picks here are all 4K.
Is there a Gojo vs Sukuna live wallpaper for Mac?
Yes. The jjk wallpaper in this list turns the fight into a red-and-blue clash with Gojo's eyes glowing on one side, in 4K. For Sukuna on his own, the red Sukuna portrait is the darker pick.
Are Jujutsu Kaisen live wallpapers free on Mac?
You can use up to three for free with a watermark, with no time limit. As of November 2026, removing the watermark and unlocking the full gallery costs 1.99 a month, 14.99 a year or $29.99 once for a lifetime license (US prices).
Can I put a JJK live wallpaper on my Mac Lock Screen?
Yes, on macOS 15 Sequoia or later. On macOS 26 the wallpaper plays on the Lock Screen automatically; on Sequoia, turn on Lock Screen support in Backdrop's Settings.
Do these work on Windows or my phone?
No. The gallery pages open in any browser, but the wallpapers play through Backdrop, which only runs on Macs with macOS 15 or newer.
If you only try three, make it the Gojo profile, jjk and Yuta Okkotsu: one quiet, one loud and one bright.
