"I got my first Mac as a teenager and quickly fell in love with the platform. What started as building small utilities for myself and others turned into Cindori — an indie studio focused on crafting tools that enhance the Mac experience. Right now I handle everything from design and development to support, with a focus on performance, native design, and attention to detail."

Over a decade of crafting Mac software
2010
Early Experiments
Developed and released Zeus, a GPU-flashing utility that enabled PC graphics cards to run in the Mac Pro — quickly gaining traction in the MacRumors community.
2011-2013
Trim Enabler
Our first commercial product unlocked TRIM support for third-party SSDs on macOS — a feature Apple reserved only for their own drives. It received great acclaim from the Mac community and laid the foundation for Cindori as a company.
2013
Founded Cindori AB
Cindori was officially established as an independent Mac software studio, with a mission to enhance the Mac experience.
2015
Disk Sensei
We released Disk Sensei, a comprehensive disk utility to monitor drive health, analyze storage usage, and optimize performance — building on the success of Trim Enabler.
2015
Command Center
We released Command Center, a macOS Control Center–style utility providing quick access to system settings and hardware monitoring — five years before Apple introduced their own.
2019
Sensei
We launched Sensei, a comprehensive Mac optimization suite featuring performance dashboards, disk health analytics, and a real-time menu bar monitor.
2023
Cindori.com
We launched a new website with streamlined purchasing, in-depth support articles, and a License Manager that gives customers instant access to their purchases.
2024
Customer Portal
We introduced a self-service portal where customers can manage licenses, download apps, and get support — secured with 2FA and no account registration required.
2025
Backdrop
We launched Backdrop, bringing immersive 4K video wallpapers to Mac — including the world's first support for lock-screen videos. Thousands of users now share and discover backdrops in our built-in community platform.
